Welcome To Heartbeat'95

angusHeartbeat'95 is a registered Charity set up by a group of heart patients to try and help other patients when they leave hospital. Their aim is to provide support and relief to people resident within the area of benefit of the charity and disadvantaged by virtue of suffering from a heart condition, with a view to promoting their rehabilitation following hospitalisation and enabling them to live as full and active members of the community. The area of benefit is the Catchment Area of cardiac services provided by the Cwm Taf NHS Trust

Successful Luncheon

Tregenna Hotel 2012We had a very successful Luncheon at the Tregenna Hotel on January 6th. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed. This event seems to grow in popularity each year. Thank you to Dennis for organising it.

Keith and his wife Susan have kindly given me permission to share their story with you. Keith Rosser and his wife Susan decided to spend a weekend at their caravan at Lydstep Haven, near Tenby, when he suffered a heart attack. Had it not been for the care and perseverance of the Air Ambulance crew, things could have ended in tragedy. After going into cardiac arrest, Keith's heart was shocked back into action 12 times over a period of 40 minutes before he finally opened his eyes. Read more...
